About Us

We’re Matt & Michelle and we’re thrilled to have you here with us.  As a music duo, we have been singing and songwriting together for more years than we’ve been married and it’s still our favorite pastime.  We can’t wait to share our music and lives with you, and get to know you better, too!  Whether we’re playing live music for a wedding, event, local business, or leading worship for churches, conferences, and retreats, we just love making music.  It is our intention to genuinely portray the highs and lows of our life story in our songwriting and bring professionalism and excellent musicianship to your event.

Outside of our music endeavors, we love our peaceful homestead life.  Over the course of a few years, we have taken raw land outside of Abilene, TX, and curated it to become a 23-acre farm and respite for our sometimes harried schedule.  We have three wonderful children (who add to said harried schedule) who help tackle the major responsibilities of farm life with us.  Our oldest raises chickens, our middle one cares for the goats, and our youngest is trying her hand at pig farming.  When life feels like a rat race, our homestead allows us to breathe deep and receive from the land for which we have toiled.  

Whether you choose to book us for a private event or a church retreat, our desire is for your experience as our client to be worry free and peaceful.  We want you to know that we can tailor our music and our level of formality to suit your needs.  Is your event a casual backyard barbecue?  We can handle that!  Are you looking for worship leaders for your church conference or retreat?  We love God dearly and would be honored to serve in this way.  How about a black tie wedding in need of ceremony music as well as a cocktail hour?  We would be thrilled and honored to help you celebrate your big day!

As Matt & Michelle, we long for you, our listener and client, to feel a sense of home and comfort through our music and our lives.  We are deeply honored that you are here with us, and we hope you leave feeling our media and our music as if we’d just sat down together, one-on-one, and enjoyed a cup of coffee and a song on the porch.
