Hello, friend.
You’re so welcome here.
We’re Matt & Michelle - a husband and wife musical duo based in Abilene, TX. Our music blends influences of folk, jazz, and blues while telling stories of our need for peace and courage; honesty and love.
-
We fell in love with each other over two decades ago, and writing music was the vehicle God used to bring us together. Since music is one of the ways we relate to each other, we try to write music that is relational. Whether we’re storytelling about life or worshipping our Creator, there’s something miraculous about how a few chords and a melody can draw a line of connection.
-
Our music, including our latest acoustic album, “Reserved For You,” can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms. We also play local shows around our beloved small-town home of Abilene. The dates and times for these are on our events calendar. We’d love to see you there!
-
We love playing live events - our music ranges from our own original songs to well-loved Top 40 hits. Whether we’re providing the soundtrack for coffee shops or conferences, serenading breweries or black-tie weddings, leading intimate retreats or larger worship gatherings, we’d love to be a part of your event.
Latest Music || Reserved for You
We are so excited to announce the release of our new acoustic album, Reserved for You! When writing and recording these songs, our main goal was to share an honest reflection of what matters most to us. We chose to huddle around two microphones and even used a music stand and a blanket as a sound barrier. Now, as we share these songs with you, our longing is for you to feel like you are sitting in our living room with us, resting, and enjoying a cup of coffee and a song. Our music tells a story, whether of the way God loves us or the way we love each other. These are our most important loves, and we hope these songs fill you with peace and lightheartedness.
